Friday Random Ten: Nothing Interesting Edition
You know what day it is! Time to put your digital music player on shuffle (iPod this week), click play, and list the first ten songs that show up. You must resist the temptation to click past the bad or embarrassing songs.
- “I Eat Cannibals Part 1″ (Toto Coelo)
- “Gravity’s Bringing Us Down” (Beulah)
- “New Age Girl” (Deadeye Dick)
- “Here is No Why” (the Smashing Pumpkins)
- “Honky Cat” (Elton John)
- “Maybe Katie (Acoustic)” (Barenaked Ladies)
- “Transmit Your Love” (Live)
- “Hell” (Foo Fighters)
- “Missing Time” (Matthew Sweet)
- “Praise You” (Fatboy Slim)
Most Favorite: You can’t possibly ask me to pick a favorite from songs by BNL, Elton, Matthew, and Beulah. There is just no way.
Least Favorite: Some weeks it’s just as hard to pick a least as a most favorite, but how about “Here is No Why” from the Smashing Pumpkins’ 1995 Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, and only because I don’t feel like listening to the Pumpkins today
Seen Live: Barenaked Ladies (6 Dec 1996), Matthew Sweet (1 Jun 1997), Foo Fighters (2 Apr 2000)
Other FRTers: Lauren
