Friday Random Ten: Birthday Edition

So now I’m 28, and horribly, I’ve been neglectful of all my blogging duties lately. I’ve been super busy planning and organizing for Philadelphia’s first Yule Ball on December 2nd, but really, is that any excuse?

In any case—you know what day it is! Time to put your digital music player on shuffle (iPod this week), click play, and list the first ten songs that show up. You must resist the temptation to click past the bad or embarrassing songs.

  1. “Race Car Ya-yas” (Cake)
  2. “April 7th” (These Animal Men)
  3. “Alive” (Nekromantix)
  4. “Can I Sit Next to You Girl?” (AC/DC)
  5. “Walk All Over You” (AC/DC)
  6. “Here is No Why” (the Smashing Pumpkins)
  7. “Broken Train” (Beck)
  8. “The Foil (Malfoy)–Live” (Harry and the Potters)
  9. “Winter Song” (Harry Chapin)
  10. “Sell My Soul” (Our Lady Peace)

Most Favorite: “Sell My Soul” from Our Lady Peace’s Gravity

Least Favorite: AC/DC’s “Walk All Over You” from their 1979 Highway to Hell

Seen Live: Beck (June 1, 1997 at y100’s first Fez-tival), Harry and the Potters (March 15, 2006; August 17, 2006; September 23, 2006)

Other FRTers: not today… check Marisa’s list
