Call to Philadelphia-area Artists

As you, fair reader, may or may not know, I occassionally DJ for an internet radio station called RadioGrounds. I’ve always said I would like to play more local music, to get the bands and artists from Philadelphia known; I’ve already received info and mp3s via our MySpace page. However, that’s not enough. RG’s gotten so many friends on MySpace that I can’t tell at a glance who the local bands are!

Here is my petition to you: if you are a local band—and by local I mean south– and northeastern Pennsylvania, plus central and southern New Jersey, all of Delaware, and parts of northern Maryland—and would like me to play your music on my show, send me a note and be sure to include your website or mp3 download page. If you prefer to email me, contact me first so I know to expect your attachments.

I am also planning a podcast, so we would also like not only permission to use your song during the show, but band bios, tour dates, free mp3s and more.
